Lake Winnebago in Oshkosh Wisconsin was the destination for the BASSMASTER Federation Northern Divisional in 2008. Eight northern division states--Indiana, Iowa, Illinois, Ohi, Michigan, South Dakota, Wisconsin and Minnesota--send their top twelve qualifying anglers to represent their state at this annual event.

...HOOTERS Bass Fishing qualified for team Ohio again this year and won the individual honor for Ohio and the overall champin honors for the entire competition...

After three days of competition, only one angler from each state in the union along with participating foreign countries to the national championship televised on ESPN can advance to the national championship in Milford Lake in Kansas. The highest finishing anglers from each of the six national divisions go the to the 2009 BASSMASTERS Classic!

Congratulations to Ryan Thomas and Cody Gray. They represented the state of Ohio in the Junior World Championship's Northern Divisional. Ryan and Cody both finished with top honors at third and fourth place, respectively, in their to age groups and HBF was honored to be a part of passing on the love for our outdoors. I can't forget to thank the HOOTERS of Appleton Wisconsin and manager Nicole Stefanovic supported the event at the weigh-in.
